This house of Rovereto (near Trento) was designed by the architect architetto Lucia Silli.
Thanks to his collaboration with Interbau and the client the installation hole could be enlarged to built very original V-shaped flights, so as to make the staircase lighter and detached from the walls.
The structure consists of two soldered-iron staircases placed one upon the other that were varnished during the installation to make them look extremely clean. There are neither screws, nor clamps of any kind. Sheet steps are 3mm thick and are made with a soundproof material that was glued under the tread.
The railings are made of extra clear tempered laminated glass panel and were inserted directly into the structure.
In harmony with the aesthetics of the house, the staircase matches perfectly the light and sophisticated architecture of the building.
